Often called “Paradise,” the Central Coast offers an exceptional quality of life that is unsurpassed by any other community in the nation.  While the climate and natural beauty are major reasons for the Central Coast’s attraction, it is really the people who have helped make the Central Coast what it is today.

Unselfish service, sacrifice and commitment are the characteristics of a handful of local citizens each year who lead the way.

Moved by the need to celebrate the Central Coast and its values, citizenry and life, two community-based, non-profit radio stations, K-LIFE 89.3 FM and 890AM, have established the Central Coast Community Impact Awards in four categories:

• Outstanding Non-Profit Organization of the Year
• Outstanding Volunteer of the Year
• Outstanding Philanthropist of the Year
• Outstanding Business of the Year

Many community leaders have joined in this effort as Host Committee and Selection Committee members, as well as sponsors.
